Why Lighthouse Technology Services Are Unique
1. We are experts in assistive technology. Our professionals bring years of training and experience. They know how to utilize both mainstream and specialized technologies to meet your needs.
2. Our team is multi-disciplinarian, including occupational therapists, vision rehabilitation specialists with expertise in technology for individuals with vision loss, and a certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) – one of only 11 ATPs in northern Minnesota.
3. Our team collaborates with many other local professionals and resources. Our goal is to complement, not compete with existing services.

Who Qualifies and How are Services Funded?
- Lighthouse technology services are available to people challenged by aging, vision loss or other disabilities.
- Specific eligibility varies by service requested and geography, but we offer many services statewide and in northwest Wisconsin.
- Services may be billed to your medical insurance or waiver. Or, services may be offered under a private pay or voluntary cost-share agreement with you, or free of charge, depending on services you need.
