Community and Business Education
Interested in knowing more about Vision Loss?
The Lighthouse offers a variety of education programs to serve businesses, healthcare providers, social service agencies and community organizations.
Our services range from one-hour awareness seminars to intensive, multi-day training for human service and healthcare professionals. We offer pre-designed and custom-designed programs.
Call us to discuss your needs and we will work to develop a program that fits your training budget.
As the number of people with vision loss increases, so does the need for community awareness and education. In response to growing demand, Lighthouse has been expanding and enhancing its historic list of education programs for businesses, healthcare professionals and the community at large.
Whether your needs are specific (i.e. skills training for employees of a vision-impaired co-worker) or general (the growing trend of people with vision impairments), we can tailor a presentation to your group.
