Who we are
Lighthouse Center for Vital Living
Our organization is committed to helping individuals of all ages in Northern Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin who face challenges related to disability or aging. We provide a range of services, including specialized training and occupational therapy, to empower those we serve to lead confident, independent, and fulfilling lives. By leveraging the power of technology, we also help people build the skills and tools they need to overcome obstacles, seize opportunities, and actively engage in their communities.
Mission
Fostering vibrant lives for people with vision loss and other challenges to independence.
Values
We believe in the dignity of all human lives. We embrace and promote the values of respectfulness, compassion, responsibility, diversity, and accountability.
Values
The Lighthouse Center for Vital Living will serve people of all ages in Northern Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin who have vision loss and other challenges to independence. Because of our commitment, people are maximizing their self-reliance and optimistic about possibilities. Our programs – delivered at our center, in clients' homes and in workplaces – provide training, technology and social/emotional supports that empower the whole person.
As a 501(c)(3) organization, we are dedicated to serving our community and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support. While there are other organizations nationwide with the word "Lighthouse" in their name, we are an independent entity focused on our unique mission and the individuals we serve in our region.
